Rules and Regulations
Code of Conduct & General Discipline
- Respect and Decorum: Students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline, politeness, and courtesy. Respect toward teachers, institutional staff, and fellow peers is absolute.
- Identity Cards: It is mandatory for every student to wear their valid College ID card visibly at all times while on the campus and in the classrooms.
- Campus Cleanliness: Students must actively help maintain a clean and green campus. Littering, writing on desks, or defacing college property will be treated as serious misconduct.
- Prohibition of Ragging: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offense under the law. The institution maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy, and any violation will lead to immediate expulsion and legal action.
Academic Discipline & Attendance
- Punctuality: Students must arrive at the college and enter their respective classrooms before the commencement of the first bell. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter without valid permission from the Principal.
- Attendance Requirement: In accordance with the Department of Pre-University Education guidelines, students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject (both theory and practicals) to be eligible to appear for the annual examinations.
- Leave of Absence: Leave must be applied for in advance using the prescribed format, signed by a parent or guardian. In case of unexpected illness, a medical certificate must be submitted immediately upon returning to college.
- Internal Assessments: Attending all tests, mid-term examinations, and preparatory exams is compulsory. Malpractice of any kind during tests or examinations will result in immediate disqualification and disciplinary action.
Uniform & Dress Code
- Prescribed Uniform: Students must attend college wearing the neatly washed and ironed official college uniform on all designated days.
- Grooming Standards:
- Boys must maintain a formal, clean-shaven look and well-groomed, neat haircuts.
- Girls are expected to dress modestly and keep their hair neatly tied or braided in accordance with institutional guidelines.
- Footwear: Casual footwear like slippers, flip-flops, or flashy shoes is not permitted with the uniform.
Electronic Gadgets & Mobile Policy
- Mobile Phone Restriction: The use of mobile phones by students inside the academic blocks, classrooms, and laboratories is strictly prohibited.
- Confiscation: Any mobile phone found active or ringing during class hours will be confiscated and returned only to the parents after a formal inquiry.
- Responsible Digital Usage: If specific digital devices are required for smart-classroom projects, prior permission must be obtained from the respective branch coordinator or department head.
